Wild Styling With the adidas ZX 8500 Overkill
The ADIDAS ZX 8500 OVERKILL comes equipped with fresh styles and vibrant colours for a special hybrid addition to this year’s A-ZX Series.
Berlin has a rich, layered history when it comes to graffiti and street art, having played an active role in the subculture from the early 1980s when Europe first noticed what was going on in the subways of New York City. The Overkill store has been a key element of Berlin’s homegrown scene, supplying paint and supporting the local writers since their doors opened back in 2003. For their contribution to the A-ZX collection, they’ve taken it to their roots with a hybrid design that incorporates the ZX 8000 and ZX 9000 in a new graff-themed creation entitled the adidas ZX 8500. As well as the vibrantly designed shoe, there are lots of other peripheral elements to the projects, such as a paint guard/shroud to keep the kicks splatter-free and a collaborative tee with Japan’s atmos crew.
