adidas Ultra Boost PK Red – A First Look
The ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST PK RED sees the seriously comfortable model sport a splash of colour on the usually White midsole.
BOOST has had an impressive impact on the market and has featured on a host of different models since its introduction last year. In some people’s eyes the only downside to the ultra comfortable BOOST technology is that it only came in White, which limits the colourway options a little. Well that looks to be coming to an end, as we have already got a first look at an ULTRA BOOST and an NMD which sit on Black BOOST soles (which you can view here and here respectively) and now we get a look at one in Red. Starting up top the upper has been upgraded with Primeknit, which results in a slightly different cut at the ankle. As it is introducing a new Red finish for the BOOST tech it made sense that the upper would also be finished in Red, but to give it a bit more life it features a combination of two shades. To help break up the retina-popping Red finish the heel clip and outsole are finishing in Black, with a hit of silver on the heel branding. There is no denying these are bold, and may be a bit too bright for some, but we like the fact ADIDAS are working on different coloured BOOST midsoles.
