Escape, Unity, Tolerance and Discovery with the adidas SPEZIAL SS18 Footwear Collection
Following the success of the previous collections, adidas Originals have unveiled the ADIDAS SPEZIAL SS18 FOOTWEAR COLLECTION, drawing on seasoned silhouettes and adding appropriate contemporary updates.
Over the past two years, the SPEZIAL capsule has fast become an icon within the Originals line-up. Inspired by the heritage of adidas’ own extensive archive, the collection’s premium apparel and footwear pieces draw on the brand’s rich past, whilst also injecting a flurry of modern touches. For SS18, SPEZIAL evokes a key message of Escape, Unity, Tolerance and Discovery, once again paying dues to a rite of passage.
All five footwear models take inspiration from electronic music and its origins in the UK: a precursor to the rave scene which took the world by storm. With this theme in mind, a colourful pastel palette has been used extensively, resulting in a very easy-to-wear series of trainers. Four separate SPEZIAL silhouettes are dropping as part of this capsule: the Hulton, Indoor Kreft, Pediham, and two Glenbucks. As you’d expect, a collection of apparel (as seen here) features alongside the footwear, resulting in another tight and well thought-out SPEZIAL collection.
