adidas Samba Decon Gets a Zip Makeover: Here’s What We Know
Hybrid sneaker models are nothing new, of course. We know and love them, mostly because of their practical function combined with a unique look. Now, zips are making their mark on the sneaker world. A closer Look at the adidas Samba Zip…
adidas has just dropped official images of a special Samba Decon design that brings some notable updates to the classic silhouette. We’re mainly talking about the addition of a leather zip overlay across the tongue, giving the sneaker a modern, functional twist. The tongue itself has also been revamped, now crafted from a performance-focused synthetic material instead of leather.
The upper of the two colourways revealed features ripstop fabric, with printed stripes and stitching outlining the signature T-toe design. Completing the look, a shroud covers the lacing system entirely. The new model is set to arrive in two monochrome colourways: a rich burgundy and a sleek grey.
How about the Drop Date?
It’s not yet clear when exactly adidas will drop the Samba Decon in the ‘Solid Grey’ and ‘Burgundy’ colourways, but the release is expected toward the end of 2025.
