The ADIDAS ORIGINALS BC TRAINER returns with a colourway borrowed from one of the 3-stripes classic training shoes…
After releasing an OG-inspired colourway of the relatively obscure BC Trainer, adidas and size? are back with another archival drop of the model. Named after Eastern European Handball Tournament, the Baltic Cup, the sport never really left the ground in Britain, but its soaring popularity in the rest of Europe ensured a variety of models were designed especially for the energetic sport in the ‘70s and ‘80s. Not a far cry from the Handball Spezial, the BC sports a varied toebox which is devoid of the usual T-shaped overlays on many adidas shoes of this era. Renamed due to licensing restraints, the silhouette stays true to the original ‘70s specs, with this release utilising a colourway more commonly recognised from the classic AS230 training shoe.
