adidas NMD London Launch Event – Round Up
The ADIDAS NMD LONDON LAUNCH EVENT popped off last night with a cool futuristic and kind of apocalyptic vibe to it.
As soon as the copper event invite arrived we knew that this event was going to be big… and it didn’t disappoint. This immersive space was a cut above your average footwear launch party. If you have seen any of the #MYFUTUREIS promo videos it will give you a sense of the kind of vibe of the event, which is probably best described as a futuristic and apocalyptic feel, with a hint of the Breaking Bad about it, thanks to the yellow suits and gas masks. If you weren’t entertained enough by checking out all of the unusual design and details, then big performances by Joey Bada$$ + Annie Mac, Wretch 32 & Avelino and Snakehips, as well as DJ sets by Barely Legal, Monki and Manny Norte made sure things stayed lively. This is definitely an event that will stick in our minds and the good news is that if you didn’t manage to get down last night, the Future House is the next phase of NMD LDN and will remain open over the course of the next few days (Thursday 17 March – Tuesday 22 March).
The space will play host to a series of bespoke drop-in performances, initiatives and workshops to encourage visitors to walk their own path and to never fall in line. So we suggest you find your way down to Future House, 25 Curtain Road, London, EC2A 3LT, whilst there’s still time…
