The ADIDAS FUTURECRAFT 4D ups the 3-stripes brand’s ante in the quest for sneaker innovation…
As the rival footwear brands’ quest to be at the forefront of innovation rumbles on, adidas pull out their forward thinking weapon: Digital Light Synthesis technology. Developed by Silicon Valley-based tech company Carbon for the brand, this breakthrough technology goes in a bit deeper than Boost, utilising digital light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to generate durable products, which is applied to the ripple-soled Futurecraft 4D.
We took a closer look at the Core Black and Ash Green colourway Futurecraft 4D earlier this year, but it seems adidas’ innovative new model could soon be hitting the shelves. 300 pairs were gifted to friends and family of the brand last year, but the model is being cited for release in a very limited quantity of 5,000 pairs this month, as well as a newly teased Pink option which was recently seen on Yeezy Mafia.
The ADIDAS FUTURECRAFT 4D is rumoured to release at some point in JANUARY 2018: check the model out in the on-foot shots from RUNNERWALLY and register for updates on the shoe with ADIDAS by following the banner below.
