The ADIDAS BLACKBURN SPZL will release exclusively at a forthcoming exhibition from the 3-stripes to celebrate the British Textile Biennial…
adidas and Spezial head to the North West next month to present an exhibition of the collaborative series as part of the British Textile Biennial in the former mill town of Blackburn. Over 100 adidas models past and present will be on display with the Blackburn SPZL debuting as a City Series exclusive at the showcase, which as the name suggests, pays homage to the Lancashire town where SPZL figurehead Gary Aspden spent his formative years. This ‘Nightsafe’ edition features a green suede upper with orange striping and the model name in trademark gold foil, all sat atop a dark grey sole unit. A limited run of 200 pairs will be available at the exhibition, with all proceeds going to youth charity Nightsafe, which works to support homeless and vulnerable children in the Blackburn and Darwen districts. A general retail release will follow, so stay tuned to the site and socials for further release information.
The ADIDAS BLACKBURN SPZL is due to release in OCTOBER as part of the ADIDAS TRAINER EXHIBITION at CORN EXCHANGE, BLACKBURN with a retail drop to follow on FRIDAY 11 OCTOBER. Hit the banner below to shop the latest from ADIDAS ahead of the drop.
