NOAH FALL / WINTER 2017

It’s only the NY label’s 4th season, but the collection for NOAH FALL / WINTER 2017 would definitely lead you to believe otherwise…

Straight out of the blocks Brendon Babenzian‘s remarkably mature label comes through with a look book that delivers a collection steeped in musical reference that feels classical, modern and all together ‘real world’ wearable.

Relaxed tailoring sits next to striped hoodies (that look like they could be an updated of the Loro Piana cashmere version from last season) and shaggy knits. There’s pleated, cropped chinos and rugby tops that give a decidedly ‘Ivy league’ edge to the collection that stops short of being sentimental and stays just the right side of traditional Americana. The core logo-based product is taken care of nicely and there’s a progressive edge to the patchwork pants and jacket.

The most interesting aspect of this collection is that Noah seems to pull off the impossible by mixing the traditional with the contemporary in a way that feels totally seamless and without a hint of pretension.
