Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 – Release Info
The SUPREME X NIKE AIR MAX 98 collaboration has been a hotly-debated topic over recent weeks, with images leaked and heated discussions about sample pairs played out across every social network. Whatever you may think, there’s no denying that this collaboration is one of the most interesting – and initially unexpected – of the year.
Supreme’s decision to work on the Air Max 98 came as a pleasant surprise to many of us. Other more obvious models immediately sprung to mind when word first came out about an Air Max collab, but the 98 is the perfect choice. There have been various pictures of the four colourways floating around online, but here we can see the official images via Supreme and Nike of both the Cream/Reflect Silver/White/White, the Black, the Obsidian/Obsidian/Reflect Silver/White and the Red/Reflect Silver/White/Varsity Red colourways.
All colours feature premium materials and detailing, with light beige snakeskin on the first version and rich patent leather on the others, elevating this classic running shoe into luxury territory. All shoes feature Supreme branding on the toe, with co-branding on the insoles and the Air Max logo on the tongue. All in all, it’s a release worthy of both brands and we’re looking forward to seeing these in the flesh.
