Invincible x New Balance 996
The INVINCIBLE X NEW BALANCE 996, like the last collaboration between the two, goes with brogue style detailing for a classy look.
Last time around, the Taiwanese shop put their gentlemanly twist on the 1400: this time, the 996 is the silhouette of choice. The Kentucky Derby-inspired shoe features suede, mesh and leather across the upper for a tonal grey finish. A little bit of contrast is provided by white and silver logos on the side and caviar blue panel on the heel. Classy touches are provided by the aforementioned brogue detailing, as well as a suede tongue label with debossed logos. Underneath is an off-white midsole, with matching caviar blue detailing, giving the shoe a kind of vintage feel which is rounded off by a black outsole. The insole finishes off the shoe nicely, with an animated print of the colourway’s inspiration.
