Song for the Mute and adidas Unveil Sixth Collaboration Featuring Two Silhouettes
Earlier this year, during Paris Fashion Week in January, Song for the Mute and adidas teased their highly anticipated sixth collaboration. The initial reveal showcased two striking models: the SFTM-006, based on the adidas Adizero PR, and the SFTM-007, inspired by the Taekwondo Mei.
Now, over six months later, fans finally have a full look at the complete collection, which boasts six unique colourways across both silhouettes.
Let’s Dive In…
The SFTM-006 channels a modern, futuristic aesthetic with its streamlined design. Crafted with TPU overlays and premium leather accents, this model also features intricate metal bead detailing, lending an artisanal touch to its technical construction.
Signature co-branded logos appear prominently on the tongue, complemented by a distinctive “SFTM-006” tag stitched onto the mid-panel, emphasising the collaboration’s bespoke nature.
The three available colourways — ‘White’, ‘Red’, and ‘Black’ — offer versatility while maintaining a bold presence.
In contrast, the SFTM-007 draws inspiration from the Taekwondo Mei, a silhouette known for its minimalist yet functional design rooted in martial arts footwear. This iteration incorporates a supple suede upper and benefits from a slip-on construction with an elasticated heel for a snug, comfortable fit. Subtle branding appears through the iconic adidas Three Stripes embossed on the mid-panel.
The colour palette here is more earthy, featuring ‘Olive’, ‘Brown’, and ‘Black’ shades that enhance the shoe’s understated appeal.
The Drop
