The adidas Adizero Goukana fuses a chunky, thick sole with design cues from the 2008 adidas Adizero Adios. Inspired by the vibrant energy and diversity of Los Angeles, the LA-based design team brought a fresh twist to this bold runner.
The thick, elevated sole clearly pays tribute to the iconic racing model worn by Haile Gebrselassie when he shattered the world record at the 2008 Berlin Marathon, especially noticeable in its signature bright yellow hue.
