A closer look at the size? exclusive adidas Montreal 76…

We can expect two colourways from the new adidas x size? exclusive collection: one in grey with pink details and a dark rubber outsole, and one in purple with white accents and a brighter gum outsole.

The design of the silhouette itself dates back several years. Originally, the shoe was made for the West German football team at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games. It was designed as a post-match sneaker with a practical fold-down heel unit for mule-style wear. This special feature is not only practical but also visually distinctive, as the rubber outsole at the heel is cut higher.

Now, in August 2025, we get an updated version remade by adidas and size? that features a toned-down silhouette, toe box perforations for breathability, and gold-foil “Montreal 76” branding over the classic Three Stripes on the side of the shoes.

The adidas Originals Montreal 76 – size? exclusive collection will be available from 1st August 2025 via size?.
