South Korean streetwear retailer WORKSOUT strengthens its collaboration with Nike by reimagining the iconic Air Max 95 in a refined ‘Thunder Blue’ colourway. Combining WORKSOUT’s signature clean, performance-focused design we saw earlier this year with influences from school uniforms and minimalist aesthetics, the shoe balances boldness with subtlety.
The upper features a deep navy gradient with Summit White and Enigma Stone accents, highlighted by a unique marbled texture that adds depth to the classic Air Max 95 silhouette. A large, textured lateral Swoosh nods to WORKSOUT’s original storefront, while an updated lacing system, reflective panels, and glow-in-the-dark details add modern functionality and style.
At the heel, the exposed inner layers create visual contrast, complemented by visible Air units in the forefoot and heel for comfort, set on a muted tan sole. Minimal branding on the tongue and insole completes the clean, balanced look.
This release exemplifies WORKSOUT’s evolving design approach, blending utility with premium finishes and storytelling, further cementing its status within the sneaker and streetwear scenes.
