In the spring, we got the first glimpse of the Air Jordan 5 ‘Wings,’ a silver sneaker designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Jordan Brand Wings Scholars Program. Now, Nike has revealed the official images of the sneaker, which will be released this fall.
The Jordan Brand Wings Scholars Program, launched in 2015, helps high school students with scholarships. After ten years, thousands of scholarships, and hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours, Jordan celebrates this milestone with a special Air Jordan 5.
As previously seen, the sneaker features a shiny ‘Metallic Silver’ colorway with several references to the anniversary. The text “In This Family No One Flies Alone” is printed on the toe. A handprint is placed on the outsole, and the ‘WINGS’ logo can be seen inside the tongue.
The sneaker comes with a unique silver hangtag. The lining is made of soft, luxurious velvet. The release also includes a custom shoebox. The sneaker will drop this fall via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers.
