Comme des Garçons HOMME Plus is no stranger to a Nike revival. This time, for Spring/Summer 2026, the Japanese label brings back the Nike Air Max Dolce. A 2002 hybrid that walks the line between sneaker and formal shoe.
First unveiled on the runway at Paris Fashion Week, the reworked Air Max Dolce taps into Nike’s early-2000s golden era of experimental design. A time defined by boundary-pushing silhouettes and striking creative risks. Once a niche pick, the Dolce returns in line with today’s growing obsession: the sneaker-loafer.
Comme des Garçons presents the Dolce in three colourways. All-white, all-black, and a monochrome blend. Visually, the pair strips back the original’s tech-heavy aesthetic, replacing its webbing with a sleek patent leather shroud. The heel keeps the signature Air unit, while the foam-moulded ridges across the upper stay true to the early-2000s design code.
There’s also the Air Max Dolce Light. A more traditional option featuring a classic tongue and lacing system. Though it still keeps that groundbreaking feel.
The Comme des Garçons x Nike Air Max Dolce is set to arrive as part of the SS26 line-up.
