The rumours from August 2024 have officially been confirmed. Nike and LEGO are embarking on their first-ever collaboration: the LEGO X Nike Air Max Dn. Dropping exclusively in kids’ sizes, this drop is sure to have young sneakerheads begging their parents for a pair.
The silhouette steps onto the scene in a bold yellow colourway matching the vibrant tones of LEGO’s building blocks. The upper is detailed with signature LEGO-style dimples, mimicking the texture used to snap bricks together. A classic red square LEGO emblem sits on the tongue, while a custom co-branded logo pairing the Swoosh with a brick silhouette appears on both the heel and the shoebox.
This isn’t the brand’s first venture into the sneaker world. In 2021, the brand teamed up with adidas to reimagine the UltraBoost and Superstar silhouettes, featuring brick-textured uppers that actually let you attach LEGO pieces. The collab also included a buildable Superstar LEGO set, meaning it’s only natural to expect that Nike might have a similarly creative surprise lined up for this release.
Nike has not yet confirmed an official release date, but the pair is expected to drop in August 2025 with a retail price of £125.
