South Korea’s Worksout Reimagines a Classic with Nike Air Max 95
For their first-ever collaboration with Nike, South Korean leading streetwear retailer Worksout brings a bold reinterpretation of the Nike Air Max 95.
Worksout is delivering a silhouette that feels both familiar and brand new. The Air Max 95 dumps its traditional gradient panels, introducing sleek curved lines and a streamlined toe box that sharpens and elongates the shoe’s profile.
Even the lace system is reimagined. A locking cord system wraps around the tongue collar, adding structure and statement. On the heel, the recognisable ‘vertebrae’ element now curves across to the inside, enhancing the shoe’s visual flow.
The olive green colourway isn’t just a design choice, but a tribute to the school uniforms worn by Worksout’s five co-founders, who first met in 1999. From that early connection, one of Korea’s most influential retailers emerged.
The Drop
The Worksout x Nike Air Max 95 launches in late May 2025, with just 3,000 pairs available globally. Nike and Worksout have handpicked select retailers for distribution, including Patta, Slam Jam, and Dover Street Market in Europe.
