ORIGINAL ARTICLE 22/03/2024: Carhartt WIP is back to resume its collaborative relationship with Converse in the upcoming CONS Pack, and it’s looking pretty classy.
Returning to the footwear realm to deliver yet another dynamic collaboration, Carhartt WIP is an experienced player in putting their spin on a pair of kicks. Working with some of the biggest names in the sneaker scene over years, one particular partnership has been significantly fruitful, continuing to make waves 7 years later. Yes, you guessed it, Converse! Debuting their inaugural collection in 2017, the alliance are to thank for collaborative bangers like the CT All Star 70 Hi Renew and One Star Ox. Launching an all-new CONS Pack in perfect timing for SS24, let’s take a look at the construction.

Utilising the CONS Chuck Taylor All-Star Pro and One Star Academy Pro Ox as the stars of the capsule, the Michigan-based label incorporates its steez through distinctive elements. Boasting an intricate concoction of materials and clashing, yet harmonious hues, both offerings express a neutral spectrum of colour. Distressed suede occupies dark brown, beige and sail panelling, nodding to Carhartt WIP’s iconic workwear heritage. Being the models that they are, each silhouette brings its own contemporary essence to the table, working seamlessly with the rustic tones.
Proudly expressing dual-branding throughout the exterior (within the tongue label, lateral sidewall and insole), a milky gum rubber outsole completes the silhouette for durability with every step.
