Queens multi-hyphenate Action Bronson and New Balance know how to deliver a hot sneaker. The proof is in the pudding! Just have a gander at the 990v6 ‘Lapis Lazuli’ or ‘Baklava’ offerings, boasting electric hues that tell a charismatic story. Following the success of alliance’s last drop almost a year ago, the Boston-based retailer is anticipated to release three new 1906R colourways in the months to come.
Set to adopt palettes of ‘Medusa Azul’, ‘Scorpius’ and ‘Rosewater’, each iteration will paint the picture of the Rapper’s unparalleled creative mind, equipped with New Balance’s unmatched craftsmanship. Although we’re yet to receive official product imagery, take a peak and what we have so far.
A Closer Look at the Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R Pack…
Every 1906R model proudly showcases an exclusive fusion of mesh, leather, and suede in vibrant tones, and this forthcoming collab is no exception. As with anything crafted by the footwear powerhouse, the design technology allows for unparalleled comfort, whilst looking great.
Leading with ‘Medusa Azul’, an electric blue floods the silhouette, injecting tonal hues throughout each component. On a more opposing spectrum of the colour wheel, the ‘Scorpius’ offering takes on a predominantly yellow shade, with loud tones of orange and blue accompanying the exterior. Lastly, we have the ‘Rosewater’ colourway, donned by Bronson himself as “the most polarising sneaker of 2024”. The 1906R boasts a semi-translucent upper – an interesting focal point surrounded by 360° of vibrant hits.
