South Korean designer Yoon Ahn turns up the heat with the Ambush x Nike Air More Uptempo Low Limestone. This collab arrives as Ambush’s most recent partnership with Nike, after innovative iterations such as the Air Force 1 Low and Nike Air Adjust Force went down a treat with streetwear connoisseurs.
Ever since the debut of the Nike Air More Uptempo in ‘96, the silhouette has gained a special place in the hearts of sneakerheads. Flaunting an inimitable look that could be recognised for miles, the Uptempo has featured in its fair share of iconic collaborative endeavours. With that being said, not even Supreme or Serena Williams made amendments to the physical construction of the model, with the Ambush collaboration being the first to appear in low-top form.
The silhouette flaunts a bulky frame, crafted with a compacted beige mesh base and “Limestone” leather overlay panelling. The main event of the iteration takes form within enlarged “AIR” branding, flaunting a striking “Sulfur” yellow hue that you just can’t keep your eyes away from. Keeping the framework grounded is a chunky midsole, adorned with an array of Nike Air units for additional cushioning and comfort on the go and of course, staying true to the models basketball heritage. Black accents are carried throughout the interior liner, Swoosh branding and heel tab, bringing an outdoor-feel to this confident pair of sneakers. Thick khaki laces act as the cherry on top for the Air More Uptempo’s, completing the collaborative iteration.
The Ambush x Nike Air More Uptempo Low Limestone is due to drop on the 4TH AUGUST 2023 via NIKE & SELECTED RETAILERS. Stay locked on our socials @thedropdate for the latest sneaker updates as and when we have them!
