The Wait Begins for the SS24 Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2
The fashion lifestyle brand and Boston-based powerhouse join forces once again to bring us the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2 collection, including three summer-coded iterations of the 860v2. Adorned in Instagram-worthy hues of vibrant orange, neon green and creamy beige, we anticipate these iterations to be a hit with streetwear connoisseurs. But don’t get too excited just yet – you’ll have to wait until 2024 to get your hands on these stylish kicks.
Taking visual cues from the first New Balance 860v2 drop of the year, the capsule opts for a lively 2000s inspired palette. Featuring an intricate upper composed of breathable mesh, this eye-catching take on the 860v2 utilises glassy synthetic overlays that contribute a rich aesthetic value to the collection. But of course, aesthetics aren’t everything, and in true 860 fashion the iterations are equipped with N-ergy cushioning and ABZORB sole technology for enhanced durability and comfort. Embellished with a floral crest logo on the heel and Aimé Leon Dore branding embedded into the tongue, the sneakers are finished off with a hard-wearing rubber outsole.
