The New Balance x BAPE 57/40 is Finally Here
The NEW BALANCE X BAPE 57/40 picks up where the Japanese brand left off with last years’ 2002R. This time it’s the 57/40 taking the spotlight: a model which takes inspiration from the Boston brand’s 574 from 1988. It’s given a contemporary update, featuring leather, suede and mesh uppers paired with a waved effect double-stacked midsole. Exaggerated ‘N’ branding appears as usual on the sides, only it has been hijacked by BAPE camo prints for this collab. A Bathing Ape text logos appear towards the heel counter.
