A Closer Look at the New Balance Made in US 992 in Black
Originally designed by Jonathan Bacon, the NEW BALANCE MADE IN US 992 introduced ABZORB Stability Insock technology to the world, along with top-tier uppers constructed in materials such as premium pig suede and breathable mesh. For the 992’s first-ever retro run back in 2020, we witnessed collaborations with Chicago’s Joe Freshgoods, Tetsu Nishiyama’s WTAPS, KITH and JJJJound and this year hasn’t disappointed either. This drop features a near Triple Black construction of mesh and suede, broken only by silver ‘992’ branding on the tongue.
