The CONVERSE X DENIM TEARS CHUCK 70 aims to empower Black votes in the US Presidential Election…
Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory delayed his Chuck 70 collab in wake of this summer’s anti-racism movement in his native USA, pushing back the release date to coincide with the Biden-Trump Presidential election to encourage voters. The classic canvas shoe comes decked out in the Pan-African flag introduced by Marcus Garvey, which is available in both Hi and Ox rises. A custom Denim Tears licence plate appears on the back heel and there’s also a second pair of laces featuring the flag’s bold colours of green, red and black. All proceeds from the shoe will be donated to For Freedoms and Black Voters Matter.
