The NIKE SB BLAZER ‘KEVIN & HELL’ PACK finds LA pro skater Kevin Bradley celebrating both the devil on his shoulder and his guardian angel with this vivid SB Blazer twin pack.
Picking the duality of good and evil as a creative angle, this set of Blazers will definitely turn heads, mostly thanks to the rich and bold colours that have been employed across the uppers. The SB Blazer Low represents the ‘Kevin’ half of the pack, with a two-tone blue upper and a cloud-shaped white Swoosh. Three black Velcro straps are used in place of laces — a detail that Bradley specifically requested, stating ” I like the Velcro straps, sometimes I’m really lazy and I don’t like to tie my shoes. Sometimes I don’t even strap the velcro! You gotta be comfy”. A raindrop graphic on the heel is inspired by Bradley’s love of rainy days. The ‘Hell’ side is represented by a bright red SB Blazer Mid, accented by black Swooshes and a sunburst motif on the heel. Bradley’s favourite Star Wars character, Darth Maul, provides the visual inspiration here: “I always wanted to do a red and black shoe, like Darth Maul”. Both shoes also feature a “KB” hit on the tongue in place of standard SB logo placement, finishing the pack off in style.
