The NIKE AIR JORDAN 1 RETRO HIGH OG CO.JP marks a return for the limited edition version of the silver AJ1, last spotted in 2001 when it was celebrated as a Millenium-themed release.
Those who recall the last time this special edition dropped may remember the difficulty in securing pairs outside of Asia. Dropping as a Millenium-themed Jordan and limited to 2001 pairs, the shoes were released at midnight and packaged in metal flight cases, exclusive to Japan. Two decades later, someone at Nike has decided to give the rest of the world a chance with the retro edition, rumoured to be dropping this summer. Neutral Grey, white, and Metallic Silver make up the muted colour palette, with the OG’s Jumpman tongue replaced with a classic Nike Air tag. Whether the special packaging will also be making a return remains to be seen…
