The NIKE AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH OG BIO HACK looks back to 2005, taking the legendary Clerks Pack as its starting point and utilising the Undefeated Dunk collaboration as its colour theme.
The Clerks Pack from 2005 was a significant moment in sneaker history. Nike linked up with five key Nike retailers from around the world (back in the days of Probe and Tier Zero categorising): Undefeated, Union and Stussy from Los Angeles got the Dunk High NL, Air Force 180 and Blazer Mid ’73, size? in London worked their magic on the Air Max 90, Air Stab, and Air Classic BW, and then San Francisco stores NORT, Huf and True created colours on the Dunk High, Air Max 90 and Air Humara respectively. For this forthcoming edition of the classic Air Jordan 1, Nike has gone to Undefeated’s Dunk Hi NL for a colour palette. The NL meant ‘No Liner’, which made the basketball sneaker much more like an actual shoe when on-foot. Whether this Jordan will follow suit remains to be seen.
