CONVERSE have roughed up the classic Chuck Taylor silhouette and added a bit of YKK steez to present the CONVERSE ALL STAR CHUCK TAYLOR BACK ZIP COLLECTION.
The Chuck Taylor is the subject of this septuple-pack; the sneakers regular upper has been toughened up with a heavier twill canvas which has been washed and distressed for a vintage effect, which is extended to the rubber sole unit, toe cap and the woven Chuck Taylor ankle patch. Finishing up the creation are flat waxed laces and the all-important heel zip—a new variation on an undisputed classic.
The collection also caters for the fairer sex, with a further remix that features three times the fastenings as the men’s version. Leather toggles and washed canvas channel the same toughness, while sparkles on the upper makes sure the shoe retains some femininity.
