Karhu, meaning “bear” in Finnish, has been providing technical runners and outdoor gear for 100 years and has a deep heritage that keeps designs simple and recognisable. The Karhu Albatross 82, a Japanese favourite, has been selected as the base for this duo in which the minä perhonen label makes its mark. The first is dressed in watercolours inside pencil-drawn ovals printed on fabric, whilst the second “land puzzle” design combines different patterns of weave structures and represents a wide view of the earth as if flying above the sky. Each pair arrives dual-branded and with an iconic shoebox with its “tambourine” textile design.
