We hit the STUDIO ALCH SS20 SINGLE USE COLLECTION show at LFW to check out Alexandra Hackett’s latest explorations in elevated utilitarian sportswear…
Studio ALCH label continues to explore the functionality of clothing with designer Alexandra Hackett’s “Single Use” collection for SS20 shown at LFW over the weekend. Elements of last year’s “competitive commuting” theme featuring removable bags and pockets are heightened, with the plastic bag in itself becoming the focus in fabrications and graphics.
Hackett’s personal archive of carrier bags was utilised with their playful motifs replicated in prints across some of the sportswear-fused pieces, which you can see in our exclusive images from the show below. Items from Studio ALCH’s fourth collaboration with Patta also hit the runway, featuring some of the Dutch powerhouse’s key items re-purposed into a hydration vest, windbreaker, and packable utility short. A collaborative harness with Greatness Dex rounds off the seasonal drop, which will be arriving at stores early next year.
The STUDIO ALCH SS20 SINGLE USE COLLECTION is COMING SOON. Hit the banner below to shop the latest from STUDIO ALCH ahead of the drop.
