On-Foot Exclusive: Nike x size? Air Max Light
Following news of the imminent NIKE x SIZE? AIR MAX LIGHT release, we managed to get our hands on a pair to bring you an exclusive on-foot look at one of the most exciting drops this season.
A highlight in Nike’s 1989 collection, the Air Max Light updated 1987’s Air Max 1 with a revised, slightly pared-back take on the original that started the series. It’s not a million miles from the OG shoe, with plenty of familiar details utilised throughout: the classic midsole is featured once again, whilst the shape of the uppers, tongue and throat echo the original AM1’s styling closely. The masterminds at size? have prepared this special colourway in time for Air Max Day 2019, with a smart light grey and orange colour combination that’s easy to wear, yet still eye catching enough to turn heads. The additional tweak comes in the form of upside-down Nike Air branding on the back heel, which adds a unique twist – or flip – to the typical application.
