An ADIDAS FUTUREPACER sporting the original silver MICROPACER colourway is spotted on EARTOSTREET’s Instagram…

Originally created for the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, the Micropacer was one of the world first multi-functioning shoe, with its silver leather build featuring a prominent lace cover with a built-in pedometer that tracked distance, average speed, and calories expended. It bowed out of the market during the early ‘90s with scant re-releases taking place since however, the adidas design team remastered the design earlier this year. Leaving calorie counting to your smartphone, the updated “Futurepacer” included a slick Grey One leather upper with added Boost midsole, but there’s every chance we could be seeing the resurrected model in the OG silver make-up very soon…

This version of the ADIDAS FUTUREPACER isn’t confirmed for an official release just yet, but we’ll keep you updated with any developments. Until then, shop the latest footwear from ADIDAS by following the banner below.
