Nike rolled out several colourways of the laceless MOC edition of the VaporMax last month, fueling our desires for the strapped-up, slip-on spin of the ever-evolving sports-lifestyle crossover silhouette. Although for us, nothing quite matched up to Black Friday’s near-Triple Black drop, which worked a solid Black Flyknit base only briefly interrupted with an Anthracite shaded Swoosh to the strap. Finished with a recognisable full-length VaporMax midsole in a matching translucent black tint, we took the moody MOC out for a road test for an on-foot shoot, which captures just how much of a welcome addition the shoe is to both fashion-focused or sports-slanted wardrobes.
