Highly respected by those in the know, OKI-NI has just relaunched with a brand-new site, ready to re-establish themselves as one of the best providers of fashion and footwear on the web.
Debuting way back in 2001, oki-ni was originally a concept store, situated on Savile Row in London, renowned for stocking exclusive collaborations with a number of brands. Their joint projects with adidas remain some of the best ever done, taking interesting (and often unexpected) models from the Three Stripes archives and giving them a thorough makeover with bright colours and deluxe materials. Instead of flooding the market with overly branded items, the business focused on limited-edition products, building respect with both their consumers and the brands they worked with. The business model was more akin to that of a gallery rather than a traditional shop, and when the physical store eventually closed, they took the same approach and applied it to their website.
Now back with the original owners, the freshly-relaunched website follows its original design principles; simplicity, functionality, sophistication and experimentation with a focused and tightly-selected brand mix. You can expect to see familiar favourites and well-loved classics sitting alongside a tight selection of underground labels and designers. Expect to find the latest footwear from ADIDAS, NIKE and REEBOK alongside the freshest collections from JW ANDERSON, COMME DES GARCONS SHIRT and STONE ISLAND.
