The NIKE ARROWZ reinterprets the Nike Sock Dart, adding an increasingly mainstream lace-up appeal to the celebrated slip-on model.
Originally dropped as a Japanese exclusive in 2004, Nike’s slip-on Sock Dart wasn’t easy to get hold of. Following up with a re-considered lace-up version of the shoe this summer, the comeback was initially heralded as the Nike Sock Dart 2 but is now being slated for release under the amended ‘Nike Arrowz’ moniker.
The adapted model draws inspiration from the Sock Dart, featuring a perforated TPU cage to the mid with large Swoosh branding, along with a plumped up white midsole that takes close cues from its predecessor. It flips the original slip-on sock construction of the Dart on its head, however, adding a lace-up fastening into the mix, resulting in the iconic midfoot strap being dropped from the design.
Staying safe and simple with its offering, the Nike Arrowz are due to drop in three respective colourways of black, white, and grey. Out now in the US, we expect the toned down models to hit European shelves at some point this summer.
The NIKE ARROWZ will be available this summer from Nike Sportswear retailers: keep locked to The Drop Date for further details on the release. In the meantime, you can check the latest footwear at NIKE by clicking the banner below.
